Lead the Way was started as a brief activity in a course called “Painting From Your Essence” with Linzy Arnott. We created the background intuitively and then during one of our meditations, we reached out and asked for something to be presented to us by the universe as a symbol of our creativity on the journey. the next day, when my husband took the dogs out, there was a screech owl feather in front of him that he brought in for me.

The Screech Owl is well known for its ability to adapt to different environments and hunting techniques. This makes it a symbol of adaptability and flexibility.
It is able to thrive in a variety of situations and is easily able to adapt to changing circumstances and take on new challenges with ease. Which was right in line with my work contract ending and the multiple strikes in filmmaking creating a large gap in my contracts.
