“Calming Glow”

Calming Glow was done during a time when I was trying to blend unplanned paint pours with representational images. This was the first jellyfish I made during this experiment and just picked some of my favourite colours for it. The background is also embellished with metallic paint pen traces and some hand-added accents.

The reason I chose a jellyfish is that I find them incredibly soothing and calming. If I’m stressed out or want to calm myself down, I will actually loo for videos of jellyfish swimming on YouTube and just watch them for a while. The slow flowing movements just do something for me.
